XipLink’s Adaptive Quality of Service (QoS) is a class-based, hierarchical traffic management and shaping technology that dynamically allocates network resources to fairly share bandwidth and meet the demands of critical applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Paired with Realtime Link Intelligence, XipOS continuously monitors and analyses network links, enabling real-time detection and adjustment of QoS parameters.
Bandwidth Optimization:
XipLink’s XipOS has delivered bandwidth optimization for multiple decades. Optimization includes compression for headers and payload, but also packet coalescing that dramatically reduces the packet-per-second rates.
Network Security:
XipLink’s XipOS supports IPSec AES-256 bit encryption along with CMPv2 based X.509 certificate management. XipOS supports encryption on both the WAN and LAN interfaces. In addition, XipOS supports Decrypt-Optimize-Enrypt (D.O.E) that can optimize traffic within an IPSec stream, when XipOS is a trusted node and certificates are installed.
